I was introduced to the soda blasting process in 2006, and after researching the process Hunter Sodablast was started in 2008. We are a mobile blasting service and most jobs can be done on site although sometimes it is better to use our shop facilities.
We are members of a national Sodablast group and have undergone factory approved training. This group allows us to communicate with other operators around the world to find out all the tips and tricks to give you the best possible results at the best price. Our ability to remove most things with baking soda allows an environmentally safe service. In the past, the only way you could remove paint or some other unsightly material from a contaminated surface, was to either chip it off, sand blast it, and/or use harsh chemicals. Although sodablasting is similar to traditional sand blasting, it has the significant advantage of cleaning the surface without causing harm to the substrate or the environment.
The Sodablast machine we use was designed in America specifically for sodablasting and to run pure bi-carb soda. Hunter Sodablast uses a Pure soda refined in Australia.
WE DO NOT USE MODIFIED SODA
Modified soda in some cases contain additives which does not assist in the blasting process and is only there to help the soda flow through the machines.This makes it less efficient and makes the blasting process that much longer. Costing you that much more.
